"I can’t thank Sam and her family enough for sharing her little slice of heaven with us! Old Rose was secluded surrounded by nature and idyllic countryside. We saw a deer one morning just leaping through the grounds. Old Rose herself was amazing, bed was super comfy, all possible amenities we could have wants were there, well appointed kitchenette and wonderful welcome treats. Sam went out of her way to check our preferences before arrival to ensure she provided exactly that, so thoughtful! Even a little dog treat for our dog Bodhi! We couldn’t have felt more welcomed. The hot tub was the perfect size for a couple and was even magical in the rain. Perfect temperature, ready when we arrived, spotlessly clean and chlorinated, robes towels and slippers provided- felt like a spa weekend-just wonderful. The locals were very friendly too we enjoyed some great walks and the Yorke Inn was really great- excellent food reasonably priced for massive portions! Highly recommended, thank you."

"Staying in this hut was an absolute delight! The setting was amazing, enjoying the hot tub while watching Kestrels above was fantastic. Appreciated the thoughtful amenities like towels, robes, slippers, and the lovely surprise of a welcome hamper. Sam was incredibly helpful with communication. Despite stormy weather, the space felt spacious and cozy. Excited to return in the Spring. Thanks for making our NYE special! Highly recommend this hut to everyone."
"We had the best New Years at Sam and bens. They were such lovely hosts and helped us with our bags when we arrived. Great communication and the little finishing touches like the crystals on our pillow and the card were really appreciated. We will definitely be back."
